Portrait of the Muncipal Regional County

Val-Saint-François, where nature reigns!

The Val-Saint-François Municipal Regional County serves almost 30 000 inhabitants in 18 municipalities, including Richmond, Windsor and Valcourt. It is known for its vast green spaces which offer many activities depending on the season. Val-Saint-François has three secondary schools, one of them English-speaking, and 10 elementary schools. It is close to the Cégep of Sherbrooke, Champlain College, the University of Sherbrooke and Bishop’s University.

The Val-Saint-François MRC is characterized by rural villages, its Irish traditions, its slate roofs, its lakes and rivers as well as the work left by Joseph-Armand Bombardier. Visit the several museums and interpretation centres which tell its history.
